Mud. There was a bit of it around. Ahh. The lovely countryside. This shows part of the course. Car line up. Waiting to move out. We're off! Coming on to the back straight. This photo is a bit blurry because of the fantastic speed the Falcon is doing. The Falcon in its favourite pit place. The Falcon and the Tall Guy cool off after another round. Oh dear. Mind those tires - they can leap out at you (especially when you are spining off the track).

Champion Dragway, Meremere Pit area. Pit area to the left Hot looking Ford Prefect. Nice Ford Falcon XY GTHO (I think). Waiting for things to get going. Car line up. Yes, this is a Toyota Surf doing a burnout, although it did have a petrol V8 dropped in it (who knows why). There is a Toyota Surf in there somewhere... Another day, another burnout, another shredded tire...

Work in progress. This is going to be a very large bon fire. It'll burn for a week... The result of a hard day's work. All the lower branches were cut back so that any cars going a bit wide don't get too battered. Unfortunately, I didn't take a 'before' picture but this looks much tidier.
